
“Happy Marriage Coaching”
Per Session Agreement
This relationship coaching agreement is between Nicole Parker Coaching and Training LLC (“Relationship Coach”), and (“Client”) (collectively “the Parties”).
This Agreement will begin upon execution and remain in effect for the duration of the agreed upon term(s). The Parties agree to the following:
The initial Term of this Agreement will be in force upon execution and in accordance with the Happy Marriage Coaching- Per Session (“Program”) selected. Dates of the sessions to be agreed upon by the parties.
Purpose and Goals
The goal of relationship coaching is to facilitate the process of growth and development of the relationship between Client, the couple. Specifically, relationship coaching involves addressing past issues briefly, then focusing on creating a plan and using a system to move forward with the client’s present and/or future goals, with the support of the Relationship Coach. Broadly, the goal is to establish or grow the skills necessary to maintain a stable and lasting relationship.
Coaching Sessions
- The Parties agree to engage in Relationship Coaching sessions of approximately 60 (sixty) minutes each.
Tools and Software
- Coaching sessions will take place via Zoom or other appropriate video meeting software as authorized by Relationship Coach.
- Communications with the Relationship Coach or support staff outside of scheduled sessions will be through Spruce Messaging or other appropriate messaging platform as authorized by Relationship Coach.
Pricing
The cost of the Happy Marriage Coaching- Per Session cost is $250 (two hundred fifty dollars) per hour.
Payment methods will be determined by the Relationship Coach and may include credit or debit card, PayPal, and other electronic forms of payment.
Scheduling and Cancellation Policies
- All coaching sessions are up to 60 minutes long via Zoom or in person as requested.
- Payment is collected at the time of service.
- The Client agrees to show up on time or contact the Relationship Coach via the designated messaging platform.
- Arriving late will reduce your session time, it will not extend your session time.
- If any Client is more than 15 (fifteen) minutes late for a coaching session, the session will be considered a No Show and will be charged fee of $100.
- Sessions may be canceled or rescheduled by Client 24 hours in advance of scheduled session time. Sessions cancelled or rescheduled less that 24 hours in advance of scheduled session time will be charged a cancellation fee of $100.
Confidentiality and Data Protection
- The Relationship Coach agrees to keep all conversations and information with the Client private and strictly confidential unless disclosure is required by law. No personal ideas, information or thoughts expressed will be shared with anyone except with the specific direction of the Client.
- There are specific situations in which the Relationship Coach will breach confidentiality in order to protect you or others from harm. These include, but are not limited to:
- If a client is an imminent risk to him/herself or makes threats of imminent violence against another
- If I have information that indicates that a child or elderly or disabled person is being abused
- criminal or fraudulent acts.
These situations are quite rare in coaching practices. If such a situation occurs in our relationship, I will make every effort to discuss it with you before taking any action.
- Some means of communication, such as wireless telephones and e‐mail may be not secure from eavesdropping. It is impossible to guarantee the protection of confidential information in certain circumstances involving computers. This is particularly true of email and information stored on computers that are connected to the internet. Relationship Coach will take measures to prevent unauthorized access to information by utilizing encryption and other forms of security protection. Relationship Coach will not be held responsible for instances of loss of confidentiality through wireless telephone or computer hacking.
Relationship Coach Commitment
- The sessions are designed to be direct and guide the Client closer to stated goals. Relationship Coach will be guiding and provide straightforward feedback and correction, ask provoking questions, use challenging techniques, and make guiding prompts to move you forward.
- Relationship Coach will provide the structure for each session.
- Relationship Coach will monitor overall progress toward goals throughout the program.
- Relationship Coach will seek regular input for relevant use of coaching time.
Client Commitment
- Client is expected to be fully committed and open to feedback and direction provided by Relationship Coach.
- Client should evaluate Client’s own progress and immediately inform the Relationship Coach of issues with progress.
- Client should obtain and maintain materials provided by the coach and refer to them regularly throughout the process.
- Client should complete the between-session tasks assigned by Relationship Coach to the best of Client’s ability. Neglecting these tasks may impede Client’ progress.
- Client is expected to attend each session using a strong internet connection and using a stable laptop or desktop device.
- Client is expected to attend coaching sessions with reasonable expectations of privacy and free from distraction.
- Reasonable exceptions for caring for young children and infants are understood and accepted during the coaching sessions.
- Coaching sessions are not to be attended when operating a moving vehicle as this is a safety risk to self and others and an unlawful activity. This will be considered a no-show appointment.
Success Disclaimer and Personal Responsibility Statement
- The Client understands that they are solely responsible for their personal success. While the role of the Relationship Coach is to inform and guide during coaching sessions, it is the role and responsibility of the Client to implement the growth and learning outside of coaching sessions.
- Relationship Coach makes no guarantees or warranties, expressed or implied, about any results to be achieved.
- Client agrees to communicate honestly, be open to feedback and assistance and to create the time and energy to participate fully in the program.
- Client is solely responsible for creating and implementing his/her own physical, mental and emotional well-being, decisions, choices, actions and results arising out of or resulting from the coaching relationship and his/her coaching calls and interactions with the Coach. As such, the Client(s) agrees that the Relationship Coach is not and will not be liable or responsible for any actions or inaction, or for any direct or indirect result of any services provided by the Coach.
Therapy and Counseling Disclaimer
- Client understands coaching is not therapy and does not substitute for therapy if needed, and does not prevent, cure, or treat any mental disorder or medical disease.
- While there are some similarities between coaching and psychotherapy, they are very different endeavors and it is important that you understand the differences between them. Psychotherapy is a healthcare service and is usually reimbursable through health insurance policies. This is not true for coaching. Both coaching and psychotherapy utilize knowledge of human behavior, motivation, behavioral change and interactive counseling techniques. The major differences are in the focus, goals and level of professional responsibility.
Terms for Ending the Coaching Relationship
- The Client may terminate this agreement in writing at any time. Please refer to the refund policy below.
- The Relationship Coach may also cancel this agreement in writing if the Client overstep boundaries, displays inappropriate behavior, makes derogatory remarks, does not uphold the agreements made within this contract, threatens the Relationship Coach and/or continues to cancel sessions in less than 24 hour or are no-shows for scheduled sessions.
Refund Policy
There are no refunds offered for this Program.
Ending and Follow-up Process
- The Client may be asked to participate in a final capstone session to discuss and assess coaching issues such as commitment and follow‐through, progress toward goals and goal accomplishment, the coaching process, etc.
- Client may be asked to complete a feedback survey following termination of the Program.
Jurisdiction
This Agreement shall, in all respects, be governed by the laws of the State of Michigan. Any controversy or claim arising out of, or relating to this Agreement, or the breach of this Agreement, shall be first subject to mediation if all parties agree. If parties do not agree to mediation, then such controversy or claim shall be settled by binding arbitration, by an arbitrator mutually agreed upon. The costs of mediation or arbitration shall be shared equally between the Relationship Coach and the Client.
The undersigned agree to be bound by the terms set forth in this Agreement. This Agreement may be signed by electronic signature technology, and such electronic signature shall be valid and effective to bind the party so signing as using a handwritten signature.
